THE SUN | birthday card

THE SUN never fails to rise every day. Birthdays are also referred to as Solar Return because the sun makes a trip around the earth and comes back to that very point.

I drew this as a part of my bigger project in 2024, referencing to the Rider Waite deck. I loved it that the kid sits happily on his white horse. The flag was one of the hardest things to master in terms of shading. I am no artist, but this project was definitely a refreshing one for me.
